to know about Kesri Metal Limited and its location?
Kesri
Metal Limited established in 1981 and went into production stream in the year
1986. The objective being manufacturing of aluminium extruded sections. The
Company’s corporate office and works is at a plot area measuring 5 acres
with a covered area of more than 40,000
sq. feet. The company was founded by late Shri P. L. Gupta and is located at
Raipur, the capital of new state Chhattisgarh. Raipur is well connected by
Road, Rail and Air.

What
is extrusion?
Extrusion
is the most modern method of forming aluminium pushed under tremendous
pressure through a die orifice. The Extrusion process can be linked to
squeezing toothpaste from a tube. By changing the shape of the opening (the
die) through which the material is pushed, infinite shapes & the cross
sections can be achieved. While some other metals can be extruded, it is
aluminium’s outstanding ductility which facilitates the production of highly
complex extrusions.

is Kesri Metal's manufacturing capacity and facilities?
Kesri
have one extrusion press of 600 MT capacity with installed production capacity
of 540 MT per annum.

Is Kesri Metal engaged in Exports?
Kesri
products are exported directly to South Eastern Countries and Gulf countries
through merchant exporters.
5.
Can
Kesri Metal supply Aluminium extruded sections in anodized finish?
We
can supply extrusions in mill finish as well as in natural anodised and
coloured finish. The colours are: Champagne, Brozne, Brown and Black.
6.
Can extrusions be supplied in specific cut lengths?
We
can supply any length between 1000 mm to 5600 mm. However the most common
length is 3660 mm.
7.
Which Commercial grade aluminium alloy is used for architectural applications
?
The
most common alloy used world wide for aluminium extrusion is AA 6063
equivalent to Indian 63400 or British HE9 or Canadian 50S.
8.
Can Kesri Metal supply aluminium grills?
We
can supply aluminium security and decorative grills in natural anodised
and coloured finish. The grills can be supplied in Champagne, bronze, brown and black
colours.

?
We

11.
Terms and conditions for new die development ?
Part
die cost should be borne by the customer and which is non refundable. There is
no minimum quantity restrictions in respect of initial off-take and subsequent
off-takes.
12.
Minimum Ordering quantities ?
Minimum
ordering quantity is just 50 Kgs (including new dies) for one particular
profile, against the industry standard of 250 Kgs, in order to facilitate the
actual consumer with the benefit of claiming Cenvat. There will be a quantity
tolerance of 20%.
13.
What
are the packing methods used and its charges ?
Hessian
/ HDPE
packing of individual bundle can hold 50 – 100 Kgs of extrusions @ Rs. 50.00 per bundle. In case of
packing in Wooden boxes, packing charges
are as per actual.
14.
What is the lead time required to execute an order ?
For
existing profiles, it will be within 5 –7 days from the date of receipt of
techno commercially clear order. In case of new profiles, it will be 4 –6
weeks.
